MISSION

Equipping communities to live whole-hearted.

Vision

A movement of story‑driven equipping that turns churches into deeply healing communities—
We want Christians to be known for emotional, spiritual, relational, and missional health.

We envision a future where churches are healthy — led by emotionally healthy leaders, sought out for spiritual depth, marked by relational safety, and unflinching in missional love.

In this envisioned future:

  • The vulnerable are welcomed with eagerness, not disdain

  • The hurting are met with compassion, not suspicion.

  • Trauma survivors find belonging, not performance-pressure.

  • Healing and discipleship are interwoven.

  • Scars are honored as part of the story God is redeeming.

Our dream is to see congregations and missions organizations adopt trauma‑informed practices that reshape how disciples relate to God, self, and one another. To pursue this grand vision we’ll spend our time forming whole‑hearted & Jesus-obsessed disciples, in mission-driven & relation-proximate communities, through trauma‑informed & story‑centered equipping.

SCOPE

An equipping ministry passionate about mission—forming discipleship. We partner with churches so that they will become healing villages. We believe that in Jesus, healing is possible, full-life is promised, and community is an absolute.

INSPIRATION

A Village That Heals
In Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry, Kira’s father—betrayed and left for dead—is carried to a small village filled with people who would not survive in the harsh world he came from. Though imperfect, the village becomes a place of restoration. This is the essence of Healing Villages: A community that welcomes the betrayed, the abandoned, the injured—offering care without promising to erase every scar.

“Why must holy places be dark places?” — C.S. Lewis

We believe the church should be a city of refuge. Not a source of fear, isolation, or confusion but of love and transformation. Our work aims to restore the church as a place of light, safety, and spiritual renewal.
